Central bank rate changes on 18 Sep 2025

On 18 Sep 2025, 4 central banks we track changed their policy rate: the Bank of Canada cut its Target for the overnight rate by 25 bp to 2.50 %, the Central Bank of Kuwait cut its Discount rate by 25 bp to 3.75 %, the Federal Reserve cut its Federal funds target range by 25 bp to 4.00–4.25 % and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority cut its Base rate by 25 bp to 4.50 %.
