Central bank rate changes on 19 Sep 2024
On 19 Sep 2024, 4 central banks we track changed their policy rate: the Federal Reserve cut its Federal funds target range by 50 bp to 4.75–5.00 %, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority cut its Base rate by 50 bp to 5.25 %, the Banco Central do Brasil raised its Selic target rate by 25 bp to 10.75 % and the Central Bank of Kuwait cut its Discount rate by 25 bp to 4.00 %.
